Who do you work with?
North Shore provides evidence-based behavioural services for individuals aged 2 to 30. We support children, adolescents, and young adults, working closely with families, educators, and caregivers to create meaningful, lasting change.
What is your approach?
Our work is rooted in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Our approach is compassionate, practical, and collaborative. Every plan is fully individualized and designed around a person’s strengths, needs, and family values. We do not use one-size-fits-all programs.
What kinds of challenges do you support?
We support families dealing with a wide range of behavioural and developmental challenges, including:
Autism and developmental differences
ADHD and emotional regulation challenges
Aggression, defiance, and frequent meltdowns
Toileting challenges
Communication difficulties
Sleep, routines, and daily structure issues
Daily living skills and independence
Parenting stress and burnout
What services do you offer?
We provide individualized behavioural consulting grounded in evidence-based practices. Our services focus on skill-building, reducing challenging behaviours, and fostering meaningful connections at home, at school, and in the community.
We also offer crisis support for families facing urgent behavioural challenges. Using evidence-based strategies, we work alongside caregivers to stabilize situations, understand underlying issues, and develop practical, sustainable plans. Our focus is on safety, clear communication, and restoring a sense of confidence and calm.
Where do you work?
Our team supports clients in home, school, and community environments. We meet each person where they are and deliver services in the settings where support is most needed.
Do you offer in-home or virtual support?
We offer in-home services across the GTA and virtual consultations when appropriate.
Do you take a family-focused approach?
Yes. We take a collaborative, family-centred approach that actively involves parents, siblings, grandparents, and other key caregivers. By including the whole family, we ensure strategies are consistent, practical, and grounded in best practices. Our goal is to build shared understanding and confidence so everyone can support growth and well-being in a unified way.
What happens after I submit the contact form?
A consultant will contact you within one business day to confirm a time, review your concerns, and answer any initial questions.
How much do services cost?
Our fees are aligned with the guidelines set by the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts. We also offer a sliding scale for families who require financial flexibility. Fees and options are discussed transparently during your consultation.
